Hello

I am attempting to create a top bar with a video and overlayed text or buttons.

That said, at the moment I cannot figure that out at all so I have tried to simply overlay an image. But there is one issue in that there is a bit of padding on the top of the top bar.

Also is there a way to have the topbar only show up on the home page?

Another question arises…is there a way to override the padding in the global theme (right now my Site Max Width is 1500 px and my Site Width is 88%.)

This makes it so the topbar can never be full width which is something I’d love to have since it looks amazing.

Is there any way around that?

Hi,

You can use the feature Slider Above Masthead instead of adding video to your topbar.

it looks like revolution slider costs a bit to purchase – is there anything free that can accomplish this?

Thanks for updating in! You do not need to buy Slider Revolution or LayerSlider plugin. These are already bundled in the X theme. If you want to install it, please go to your WordPress Dashboard > X Addons > Extensions.
