    At the top of the page, the white portion is the “Top Bar” area (which I’ve populated with logo and date) and then below that is the reddish bar which is the “Logo Bar” in my theme. I just need one horizontal area at the top where the logo and date are, so I guess I don’t really need the “Logo Bar” (reddish). How do I get rid of that? Is this the proper way to do this?

    Thanks for writing in! You can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

    .x-logobar {display: none;}
