zParkerParticipantHello,
I’m seeing a huge difference in image quality between a [thumbnail] and [caption].
Why the discrepancy?
How do I fix?June 2, 2016 at 8:43 pm #1023358
NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
Not sure where to find the image that you shared. Please share us also your admin credentials so we could check your setup closer.
Don’t forget to set it as private reply.
Thanks.

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing the exact URL where the images are? I can’t find it at this moment 🙂
Though, the explanation is because they are using different registered image sizes. Captioned image can be any size, thumbnail is always smaller as default to 150×150 ( https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Thumbnails )
About your other questions,
1. It’s slow, but displaying on firefox. Please try another machine, or please clear your Firefox’s cache
2. Please go to Admin > Cornerstone > Settings and allow post type
Hope these helps.

zParkerParticipantHi,
1. images can be seen here; https://lightroompresetsworkflow.com/58716-2/
2. It’s not slow. I tried, an iMac, PC, and a Mac Pro. The comments never show in Firefox. Yes, I cleared my cache on each device.
3. As I mentioned in my request, the Cornerstone settings has been setup to allow post type. Please see the attached image. It will not give me the option to edit/design Posts with Cornerstone.June 5, 2016 at 9:36 pm #1027265
RadModeratorHi there,
1. The caption uses attachment with inline styling of
width: 256px. While the thumbnail from X hasn’t. The size is 258px, but the caption wrapper compressed it to 256px hence, creating blurry edges. Try adding the same 256px on your thumbnail and it will be blurry too. Or remove the 256px to your captioned image’s wrapper.2. I just tried it on again on El Capitan’s Firefox and it’s really working on my end. Would you mind providing your browser version?
3. I just checked it and I’m able to edit the post through cornerstone. Would you mind providing a screen recording displaying the issue?
Thanks!

zParkerParticipant1. removing the width as suggested does not fix it. Please provide the code you wish me to use. I’ve tried several variations and none of them worked.
2. Firefox 46.0.1 | Yosemite 10.10.5
3. resolved

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Regarding the image quality, it is not an issue with X nor Cornerstone because it doesn’t scale images. There are two possibilities that might be the cause of this. One is your image optimization plugin and another is browser image scaling. The only solution to this is to increase the width attribute value of the caption shortcode like
(see attachment). Removing the width attribute will not display the caption. This might be a bug in WordPress itself as I’ve tested this in the default 2016 theme.Regarding FB Comments, I created a test post in your site https://lightroompresetsworkflow.com/x-support-test/ and it displays in Firefox (see attachment).
Thanks.

2. Yes, I know that the Facebook comments work in your version of Firefox and your operating system. However, it does not work in my version or my readers versions. I’m getting emails from readers that they can not leave comments. See attachment.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. I am another Staff and I can see the Facebook comments fine with Firefox – http://prntscr.com/bdpyfn
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the facebook comments as I didn’t find anything that might cause this.
Cheers!

zParkerParticipantHow can you say there is nothing wrong with comments when I provided an image that shows the comments NOT showing!!!
We can keep going back and forth until someone is willing to look into this. I’m glad it’s working for you. But, you’re not addressing my issue. It’s not working for me or others. See attached and you’ll see NO comments in my browser.
