    Hi there,
    I have very basic web development knowledge and I was building out my site locally using MAMP when I encountered an issue where MAMP would not start the SQL server and I lost everything in my attempts to get it fixed.

    Now I am too worried about building it locally and I want to develop my site online. I did this previously for another site using Godaddy where they provided a staging domain for me to work from before launching my site live.

    Does Themeco hosting allow for this? I own the domain already however it’s pointing to my existing crappy website for now while I develop the new site and then I will direct everything to this domain.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Yes, our hosting has preview URL that you could use before going live. You can move live once you’re done developing your site.
