Hello,

I need help with theme update. I tried update theme to latest version because VC plugin doesn’t work. I make a copy to http://ebcgnew.visio.sk/ the original site is http://www.ebcg.com/ i use child theme to customize original theme.

Please can you help me? Thanks.

Thanks for writing in!

In X 4.0, we have replaced X Shortcodes plugin. Please deactivate and delete X Shortcodes plugin. Please take note that X shortcodes and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone which you can install by going to X Addons > Extensions. To know more about Cornerstone, please check it out here: http://theme.co/blog/x-version-4-introducing-cornerstone/

And since you are using a legacy child theme, there is also a slight change which you need to update your child theme as well. For further explanation about the child theme updates, please check it here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/child-theme-updates/

Please try deleting Visual Composer and Installing again buy going to Wp-Admin Dashboard > Addons.

Thanks for writing back. Kindly switch to X from your Child Theme as your Child Theme seems broken. You might have removed the following code from your CHild Theme’s functions.php :

// Enqueue Parent Stylesheet
// =============================================================================

add_filter( 'x_enqueue_parent_stylesheet', '__return_true' );

Hello There,

Upon comparing the page, it looks like the images is not showing on the page. Could you please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
