When I go into the theme option on the backend, how do I change the image associated with the X Theme to something branded up as ourselves?

Also – how do we change the background colour/image of the login page please?

Hi there,

That’s the screenshot of theme and you should not edit this as you should not edit the theme files. If you want to use your own brand, I’d suggest to use Child Theme where you can use your own screenshot and theme name.

How do I use a child theme please? And can we do this and still keep the existing files?

Hi There,

Here you have the instructions of how to setup a child theme.

The only thing I recommend you doing before activating it, is going to :

WP Admin Dashboard > Addons > Save Customizer Settings.

Download it to your computer, once you active your Child Theme re-upload them if necessary.
