KBParticipantHi there,
I am trying to manage my theme on my dev site, however the theme does not give me permission to reinstall it and play with it.
I have previously contact you about a problem i was having with the theme since i have deleted some features i wasn’t supposed to and i was told to build a dev site and reinstall the theme…
how can i go about that?
ThanksJanuary 25, 2017 at 11:27 am #1345003
RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! What are you facing to install the theme? You can validate your staging site as “Development Environment” and validate it. Please clarify what you are referring by “the theme does not give me permission to reinstall it “.
Cheers!

KBParticipantsure, this is what it is showing me:
“You’re almost finished!Your license of X is not validated. Place your Envato purchase code or Themeco license to unlock automatic updates, access to support, and Extensions. Learn more about product validation or manage licenses directly in your Themeco account.”
so i put my “key” and they ask me to buy a new one because this is already in use.
how do i validate the site as a “Development Environment” ?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
On your Themeco Dashboard for licenses, when you assign your assign you are able to assign your URL + a dev url under it.
Hope it helps
