    We are getting

“Error : Please fix your theme to make plugins work correctly: Go to the Theme Editor and insert <?php wp_head(); ?> just before the </head> line of your theme’s header.php file.”

    See sreenshot: https://www.evernote.com/l/AGOzZRUjqJlJ_og_eHoWwGx-toLlZD1wnvE

I am not sure what to do with it / how to solve it.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi there,

Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If this doesn’t work, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi Jade

It was indeed a plugin (Social Media and Share Icons (Ultimate Social Media)) causing the conflict.

Should we just find another plugin doing the same, or do you see an easy way to fix it.

    Kind regards

    Christian

    Hi Christian,

As it is a third party plugin that’s causing the conflict, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer so it would be best to find another plugin that would work correctly with the theme.

    Thank you!
