    I’m having trouble with automatic updates of X and the associated plugins. It says that the update package is not available and that I need to validate my site. I have validated it already and got some help from someone regarding the same problem a couple of months ago when I changed my url. I’m not sure what to do to fix the problem. I have revoked the license and made sure the url is the same as the one in the general/settings to revalidate. Any help figuring out what is keeping it from being validated and doing automatic updates would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Using my test license I revoked and revalidated your site. Before you can update the plugin, you need to update the X theme first. And after that, you can update the plugins. I just went ahead and updated everything to save you from trouble. You may need to revalidate again since I revoked it.

    Please keep in mind that automatic updates doesn’t mean that X theme and other plugins will update itself. You still have to click on the updates button within your dashboard. When X theme is not validated, you cannot do any updates within your dashboard at all.

    Thanks for the help. I appreciate how quickly you’ve responded! I’m not sure why I keep having issues with this every time a new version is released. I have followed all your recommendations (clicking the updates button and doing the theme before plugins) each time and still no dice. Hopefully it will work next time. Thanks again!

    I’m having the same issue. I thought maybe i enetered the calidation code under the wrong domain but it doesn’t look like it…

    Hey There,

    Please revoke your licence from dashboard and remove the site from your themeco dashboard. Add them both again and you should be fine.
