Hi Team,

I have an issue re. the visual tab in cornerstone editor and in default page editor.

When I open a new page, I automatically get to edit the page in text mode. I type some text and click on the visual tab to edit styles and the text disappears. I click some more time between the text and the visual tab and the text content field below the tool row disappears. The same goes for working with cornerstone editor.

I attached 3 images to enlighten the situation. the problem started to occur about a week ago, could 80% say after the update or the site transfer (same server – different domain), since both was done in one day.

Hi There,

Would mind adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.

define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

You can add it before the line

/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Hi,

sorry, but the fix did’t work.

I had this site running on same server under different domain without this code and it worked fine. The login to the old domain is the same as to this one. Url is scientis.eu
I disabled the redirection from old to new domain to check for the error/misbehavior on the old domain and the site is doing just fine, so I suspect, that moving the site caused this?

I noticed another anomaly if this helps, namely on the convertplug popup window there is no picture for of the “X” close sign.
The root of the picture clearly shows to old domain as seen in the pic attached.

Any ideas 😉 ?

As I have check the Visual tab in Cornerstone, as soon as I click it, there is a JS error on the page. You can check it here: http://prntscr.com/dswcyw

Please reinstall WordPress and see if it works. If nothing else works, would you mind providing us the ftp login credentials so we can take a closer look? Thanks Team for such a thorough answer. I reinstalled the WP-files, except the WP-content and wp-config. I hope this is ok how I did it, is it?

The visual tab now works. thanks for pointing me this way.
If any of the problems reemerge I’ll sure know, where to find the best possible help.
