I purchased WP Beaver Builder and it doesn’t fully work. The developer said,

“Unfortunately, there is a JS error which is related to your theme’s JavaScript which is causing the issue. However, I’ve also reviewed your theme’s “single.php” file and it appears to be using code not standard in WordPress which is required for BB to function correctly. Basically, for BB to work the theme needs to use the WordPress “the_content()” function in a loop. The theme’s “single.php” file doesn’t contain this and uses some custom theme function.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the theme you’re using or how to configure it. Therefore, I recommend you contact your theme’s support and inform them of the issue along with showing them the snippet in our documentation which I have linked below. On that article, there is a section called “Switching Theme” this is the code that is required for BB to function correctly. 🙁

    Hello Cara,

Thank you for the information. To run X smoothly, you need to install or activate Cornerstone plugin. Please keep in mind that all the shortcodes and its functionalities has been integrated in this plugin. This plugin should be automatically installed once you activate X.

I’d also recommend that you clear your caching plugin, and disable it during development. This can cause Customizer changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

Please let us know how it goes.

Yay! It works! I love this theme, and your support.

I uninstalled Cornerstone thinking it was competing, therefore causing Beaver Builder to not work.

    Sorry about that.

Thank you so much for fixing my site.

    Appreciatively and Warmly,
    Cara
