    Hi there,

    I am having the Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 492197 bytes) in /home/univer43/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1171

    I have added this to my wp-config.php (after debug):
    define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
    define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

    and this to my php.ini:
    max_execution_time = 300
    max_input_time = 60
    memory_limit = 256M

    Still getting intermittent fatal error message. Most commonly happens when I go to customise the theme.

    Where to next? Thanks in advance!

    Also – I have just updated the .htaccess file so that the php.ini is recursive in child folders and customise seems to load now.

    Not sure if this has updated the RAM as don’t know the place you looked.

    Demo content still not able to load though

    Hello There,

    Thanks for updating in! The screenshot was taken right in your dashboard from which you can also see it in Dashboard > WP-ServerInfo.

    The demo content will still not load unless the PHP memory exhaustion is not resolved.

    The PHP memory limit should be increase to at least 256MB.

    Hi again,

    The PHP Memory Limit is now set at 1024mb but the demo content still won’t load. I am still receiving the error that arrives 10 seconds after clicking “setup demo content”.

    Hi Liam,

    Which demo content are you trying to load?

    We would like to ask permission to try loading the demo.

    At the mean time, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Hello Liam,

    I can confirm demo install is not working and the error I found is this:

    cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 4922 milliseconds with 105804 out of 266537 bytes received"
    message
    :
    "We're sorry, the demo failed to finish importing."
    

    It seems a server configuration issue. Kindly follow this page and see the section “Contact your host” to ask your hosting provide to check the configurations specially “– Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled.”

    I wish I had the option of always using a host that I know and trust with clients!!!

    We have lift off! The demo is now successfully installed after the host made the cURL changes.
