Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
Thanks for providing the credentials, try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how this goes!

tamararobbParticipantI have deactivated all third party plugins and it appears to still be broken. Please take a look and let me know if you see anything.

FriechModeratorHi There,
It appears that the Cornerstone did not automatically install (or did you delete it?). Please install the Cornerstone, you can download it here: http://2fc.a84.myftpupload.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/cornerstone.zip
Cornerstone is required to run X|Theme.
Thanks.

tamararobbParticipantThanks for sending the link. How do I install this?
May 27, 2016 at 9:49 am #1013025
RahulModeratorHey There,
You can go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Upload zip and then upload the zip file you download from the link above.
Before doing so, make sure to uninstall any existing cornerstone version you may have.
Hope that helps.
Thanks

tamararobbParticipantI attempted that. I keep getting an “install failed” error. I do not see anything for Cornerstone in the plugins. If I were to delete and update the theme, would it save the current settings to the layout etc.?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Yes you could re-install the theme and you won´t lose your setting because they are stored on the database.
We do recommend that you do backup your website before doing it.
Please follow this steps:
Could you please try the following workaround.
1. Revoke your API key from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Joao

tamararobbParticipantI re-installed the theme and it states that I have to manually install the plugin. I have tried following the instructions without any luck. Can you please assist by logging into the backend?

JoaoModeratorI There,
I tried to connect to your host via FTP with the credentials above but without success, could you confirm if they are correct?
We will perform a manual update, you can also do yourself if you feel confindent.
You need to upload the Cornerstone zip file to your Wp-Content / Plugins / and unzip it there.
You can find the zip d by unzipping the theme
x.zip, and navigating to/framework/plugins/.In case you need help please confirm us your ftp information are correct.
Thanks,
Joao

tamararobbParticipantI connected just fine via Filezilla. It gave me a notice that the host was unrecognized, but just clicking okay lets you connect. Would you please try again to see if you can access it. I already see the Cornerstone plugin in the Plugins folder.
