jschultzParticipanthi there,
I am unable to get the youtube api to work on my website when using THE GRID plugin. I have followed all the instructions/steps correctly for setting up and configuring the global settings, but for whatever reason, i keep receiving the same error on my videos page “No content was found for the current Channel/Playlist/Videos.”
url: http://wonbody.com/new
video page: http://wonbody.com/new/?page_id=126please help. I also noticed that I am not the only user experiencing this issue.
thanksJune 25, 2016 at 11:18 pm #1059751
RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Yes, not only you. But most of them is related to API setting that they set up. When I set them up, they work but not most. And I had to create my own API Key just to see of it’s a bug of the plugin or API related issue which is mostly user’s responsibility.
Would you mind providing your site’s login credentials and youtube API Key in private reply?
For the meantime, please update your Th Grid plugin to 1.6.0. You’ll have to deactivate the The Grid plugin first, update notice won’t appear while it’s active and we’re currently looking into it. Then just activate it back when you’re done updating.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
You added your API Key that has space, API now works but then this is another error
Sorry, an error occurs from Youtube API: ipRefererBlockedIt’s your API settings, you could be setting Allowed Referers, or your domain isn’t allowed to for your generated API. Please double check your API Settings.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
I just created my own key and it works. Please create another key. It should be a Browser Key with empty allowed-domain .
Thanks!

Thanks!June 30, 2016 at 9:51 pm #1067830

Jared CParticipantI’ve been experiencing this issue myself and just discovered the problem thanks to @Rad above.
When copying the browser key from Google it was also pasting a space at the beginning AND end of the key. If you’re having this issue, double check to make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the key once you paste it in to the API field.
Hope this saves someone some time!
