    Hi,

    I would love to use the skins version of the Grid. I see that they have a 2.0 version but I only see 1.6 on my plugin section. How do I upgrade without having to purchase it myself?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for posting in. Please delete The Grid from your WordPress Admin Plugins page. Then try to reinstall in again via Addons. Do let us know how this goes.

    Well this worked for me – I just needed to deactivate the v1.6 plugin and as soon as I’d done that then it informed me there was an update to v2.1 to be installed. All good now.

    I tried this out and it worked as well! The only issue I am having now is with trying to register the grid. In order to access the skin builder it says I need to create a token. When I do create a token it says no purchase was found.

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look on your setup? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Thank you for the credentials.
    Can you reinstall your THE GRID plugin. It seems we have a different version. See this comparison:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDQujhjZfW
    Skin Builder is available on my install. I tried to reinstall it just now and the skin builder is still there. Do let us know how this goes.

    **Update we found what was causing the issue. Please update X to the latest version and then Skin Builder will be available.

    Hi,

    I updated the latest X version and then deleted the grid plugin completely. When I re-installed it is still saying I have to register the plugin and is giving me the purchase not found error.
    One thing I did notice. When I completely deleted the grid plugin and reinstalled it still had my grids I had made before. I thought they should have been deleted. Maybe the Grid is keeping information saved somewhere?

    What should I do now?

    Hey There,

    Thanks for the information!

    You are currently using an older version of X – v4.6.1. Kindly update your theme to the latest version v4.6.2 and you will get to use Skin Builder feature within the Grid plugin. See attached!

    Man, crazy. I could have sworn I updated it! Anyways I updated and it works now! Thanks so much for all your help!
