    Hi guys!

I have a problem with “the grid” that is driving me nuts. i ran some tests and for some reason the grid is slowing down my admin site.

You hardly notice this when you visit my site without login in but as soon as you log in, you notice the difference. i don’t know why does this happen and i would really apprecciate your help on this.

Ok, so the p3 plugin showed that heartbeat plugin was incredibly taking a lot of resources so i disabled it. good. the site is a bit faster now but it’s still way too slow.

I have asked my hosting provider if they could give me a report analysis and they are now on it. is there something specifically you want to look for in there so i can be more specific to my hosting provider (siteground)?

thanks for your support by the way!

    Hey Alejandro,

Let us know what Siteground reports.

    Thanks.

    Hi Alejandro,

You can try installing a cache plugin and optimize your images to improve your site performance.

For more information kindly refer to the link below.

    Hope that helps

That has already been done, both images and caching. unfortunately that is not the problem. i’m pretty sre it’s a conflict between 2 plugins (maybe woocoommerce and the grid) but i don’t know for sure, how can i make sure of that?

    Hello Alejandro,

You can try to disable one plugin at a time. Then clear cache before checking your site again. Compare the performance when either woocommerce or the grid is disabled. That way we can make sure which plugin really slows your site. Do let us know how this goes.

I think i’ll make a fresh install and import everything back without using any plugin because i’m starting to believe there’s a file corrupted somewhere (something very similar happened to me before on a client’s site. the only thing i’m worried about is how can i put back the posts and product’s featured images back (and the product galleries). could you recommend me a way to do so ( i mean importing the featured images and putting them back in their product or post. maybe manually or with a plugin)?

    thanks!
