    Hi, I have connected my license with X theme, installed The Grid, but I need to activate Grid plugin in order to use skin builder.

    How can I access skin builder?

    Hi There,

    If you want to use the premium features of the Grid, you have to buy a separate license for the Grid plugin.

    I just want to be clear on how to proceed if I want The Grid’s skin builder feature. I should uninstall The Grid plugin available through the X Theme admin panel, then purchase and download that version of The Grid and install like any other third party plug-in?

    If that’s the way to proceed is there any rumor of this feature being added via X Theme’s version of the plug-in? I don’t want to buy the license and then have it available through X a short time later. It’s not like it’s going to break the bank or anything, but it can’t hurt to ask. 🙂

    Hello There,

    Thanks for updating this thread! Please keep in mind that the Grid’s skin builder has been introduced in version 2.0. As a matter of you fact, you do not need to register the plugin to avail this new feature. If you are not seeing the Skin Builder, it means that you are still using the older version 1.xxx. Please do update to the latest version which is 2.1.0. You can check out all the latest supported version here: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/

    Thank you! I had checked my version and knew it was out of date but saw nothing that said how to update it. So I thought X hadn’t released the updates yet for it. So I just now thought I’d delete and reinstall and hopefully pick up the updated version and the moment I deactivated it, I got the prompt to install the update to 2.1.0. All weird, but now all’s well.
