    Hi X-team,

    I’m planning to implement the grid plugin. I aim to use it instead portfolio index page. (https://idophotographydungarvan.ie/portfolio/)
    1.How should I approach this? Should I make a new page, insert the plugin there and then use it instead (how?)
    2.I would like to use the grid filters and link directly to the filtered index page, e.g: On the homepage I have few links to
    a.wedding photos – I’d like it to link to filtered portfolio showing only weddings
    b.portraits – link only to portrait items
    c.lifestyle – link only to engagement items, etc

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! You can’t use The Grid on Portfolio Page template. You need to create a page and set other page template (i.e. Fullwidth template). You can’t mixup the portfolio and The Grid together. Let’s follow The Grid documentation for more help.
