Hello,

I am new to x theme and wordpress, so in advance, sorry for the inconvenience!
I am preparing my site (staging1.worldvespa.net) in staging environment and everything worked fine with x theme and its extensions but “the grid” plugin.
I have deactivated all the 3rd party plugins (except your extensions) but the problem is still here.
Can you please help me?
The system requirements seem to be OK and “the grid” skin builder works fine.
The problem is when I press the “import demo” button (nothing happens) and when I press the “create a grid” button” (it’s trying to load but it gets nowhere)

Unfortunately, when I click “Read Grid Demo Content” I get this message: “Sorry, an error occurs, the file can’t be read.”

Is there anything I can do to use “The Grid”?

Hey There,

Thanks for writing back!

1. You need to select Choose file option and a browser will appear. Make sure to select an exported demo content and then hit the read file content button. See attached!

2. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hi,
Thank you for the immediate reply!

1. I do export the demo content (12skins), so I have s .json file.
Then, as you say, I select this exported demo content and then I hit the “read file content” button.
At first a circle (meaning it’s loading) appears next to the “Fetching item(s) data” message, but after several minutes of waiting nothing happens!
I then hit the “Create a grid” button under the “The Grid” on the left panel menu, but also nothing happens. I am getting this white screen (see attached)

2. I tested the Grid with all my third party plugins deactivated. I even deactivated ALL the plugins, just in case, but it seems there isn’t any conflict.

Can you please have a look to my site?

Hello There,

I have checked your site. I even deleted and re installed theGrid plugin. Still the problem exist. I found out that you are using Siteground and there was an issue with the plugin and Siteground on the way they handle the sites. This could be the reason for the issue.
