Paul BParticipantI have a plugin conflict with The Grid which is stopping the Create a Grid page loading
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=the_grid_settings&create=trueIt gives the following error when I just run Member Press Business and The Grid plugins only. I think it’s something to do with when jQuery-UI is being loading? See attachment for JS requests when generating the error.
Do you know of a fix for this?

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for posting in.
Wordpress has built-in jQuery UI, hence of Member Press loads its own copy of jQuery UI, then probably yes, it’s causing the conflict.
Would you mind trying turning off “Include global library” under your The Grid’s global setting?
Thanks!

Paul BParticipantHi
Include The Grid library globally is already off and makes no difference either On or Off.
I find the following:
If I run Member Press and The Grid I can edit Grids.
If I run MemberPress Business Edition, Advanced Custom Fields PRO and The Grid I can’t edit Grids.
If I run Advanced Custom Fields PRO and The Grid I can edit Grids. It is therefore something to do with running combinations of plugins.
The jQuery version loaded seems to be 1.11.4 when the Grid loads and when it doesn’t so I don’t think it’s a jQuery_UI version issue.
See attached console JS reports for errror and working.
Thanks
Paul

RadModeratorHi there,
Really weird, still no luck. For the meantime, could you try installing this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-organizer/ and disable Membership plugin on The Grid’s admin page?
I’ll continue checking.
Thanks!

Paul BParticipantFeel free to add that plugin yourself if you think it might help you resolve the issue. You have Admin login.
Thanks

Paul BParticipantHi
I’ve done some more investigating and as far as I can see if I run The Grid alongside other plugins and WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields it doesn’t load. I’ve played with the Plug Organizer as you recommended and this made no difference.
My conclusion is this is an issue with The Grid as other common plugins play nicely together and The Grid has quite a heavy JS interface for building a grid and this is the page that doesn’t load.
Can you please help resolve this as The Grid is recommended by X Theme but as far as I can see it has some bugs.
Thanks
Paul
