nikiniki9doorsParticipantHi.
I want to set up static grids that dont really have a rollover aside from the read more button changing colour.
I cant seem to figure out how to do this in either The Grid or Essential Grids – everything is rollover/movement.
Can you advise on which is the better plugin to use and how to go about creating this?
DESKTOP VERSION:

I also wanted it to scale down on a mobile. like the attached.

Thanks.

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Essential Grid would be better but haven’t tried that layout yet. In fact, I’m not sure if it’s possible on all those plugins. Would you mind providing your site’s URL that has this? I’ll do some quick test on my end and see if it’s really possible.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s customizable, but every plugin has their own standards. Or else, there is no need for multiple plugins as their job will be the same. You can use their templates(or we call it samples/demo) or create a blank copy.
I see, that design is still a mockup.
I tried some test and I think it’s a bit possible, with help of both skin builder and custom CSS. You’ll have to utilize the layer animation, trigger, action, and so on. Sizes are of course controllable through grid options. Though, it’s a lot of work and that something we can’t cover.
Thanks!

nikiniki9doorsParticipantOk but you think essential grid would be my best bet?

nikiniki9doorsParticipantHey Rad
I am actually trying to use the VC grid builder however it will not save ever. As soon as I update it goes blank. Can you log in and see what the bug is?
