    @Malte, what’s the status on this? I just installed and activated “The grid” and I’m trying to use it with a custom post type, with various pieces of meta I need to incorporate. Is the “Skin Builder” out available on our present version of The Grid (1.6.0) cause I don’t see it?!

    Hey Mervin,

    Thanks for updating the thread and have some interest in TheGrid plugin. The skin editor is not supported yet in 1.6.0. The skin builder is included in TheGrid 2.0 version. We will be releasing this new version via automatic updates soon. Please watch out for it.

    Hi,
    I’m really anxious for you guys to include thegrid 2.0, any approximative ETA on the feature? I’m in the middle of building my site. I tried using Essential Grid, but find it has very slow load times compared to THE GRID, but the grid doesn’t have the skin builder yet. Depending on when V2 arrives with X, I’ll postpone publishing certain pages or not (if it comes soon, i’ll postpone, if it’s later, I’ll use a less-customised skin in the meantime), so it would be great to have an idea of when it’s coming in 🙂

    hi there,

    I wondered if you happened to have a date for this yet? My site is being delayed because my grid created in The Grid needs customisation so I am desperate for this update!!

    Unfortunately we cannot provide an ETA.

    If your site is delayed I recommend you launching a version without counting on this functionality and upgrading once we release the update.
