NaturalifeParticipantHello,
While browsing certain websites for design ideas, I have noticed that their text appears to be really crisp looking. After further research, I discovered that this is due to text-rendering: optimizeLegibility or geometricPrecision.
But correct me if I am wrong.
I would like to achieve this nice look to my text.
So I was wondering if this theme already has these settings or do I need to add them in my custom CSS. If it isn’t already there, would adding this have a significant impact on site load speed?
Thank you for your time.
EDIT: The crisp text may be due to the font I am using too? Are certain fonts higher quality compared to others?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
If you have doubts about fonts, I would recommending installing the Google Chrome Addon WhatFont so you can click and find out which font those websites are using and test on your website trough Appearance / Customizer / Typography in case they are Google Fonts.
Font-spacing also can play a important roll at this I would say. You can rightclick and inspect if these websites are using some kind of different font-spacing that might be giving this look you are looking for.
There is absolutely no reason why other websites would have better looking fonts then X.
Let us know if you need help with anything else,
Joao

NaturalifeParticipantThat’s fine!
It’s probably due to my lack of knowledge on the subject.
I already have what font installed, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing out on any font-enhancing features.
Thank you for taking the time to respond,
Cameron
