Hi – is there a quick way to add the Terms of Use plugin code to the WordPress login page? We want visitors to agree every time they log in.

    Thank you

    Bill

    Hey Bill,

We haven’t tested this plugin extensively with X theme but you can give it a try : https://wordpress.org/plugins/agreeable/

Let me know how it goes 🙂

It’s buggy with X Theme. I’m limping along with it. If you don’t check a required box, there is no error message. It just seems to act as if your username or password was incorrect. I don’t know if the message is getting hidden behind conflicting theme styles or if it’s even supposed to alert the user. I think it is…

    Hi There,

You could create a modal with Convertplug the big button could be agree and A Not agree link on the side.

    Agree: close the modal.

Not Agree: Link to another page.

You need to remove the closing button of convertplug in order that the idea works 🙂

** You can install Convertplug on Wp-Admi Dashboard / Addons

I’m just surprised this request doesn’t come up more often.

Agreeable seems to work, but if someone doesn’t click the checkbox, the page just reloads as if your password was incorrect. No message about “You must agree with T&C” appears anywhere. Not sure if that is a style conflict or if that is even supposed to happen with this plugin.

You are saying we pop a modal on the login screen itself? They must agree to even get to the login form?

    Hi Bill,

Sorry for the miss understanding, my ConvertPlug idea would work just if visitor were about to visit your website not trying to login.

You could create a login button on your page that will popup the modal with the choices mentioned before and than redirect to the login page as well. But that would work if they don´t know the URL of your login page, otherwise they can access directly.

In the meanwhile would you mind providing your URL so we can check how the plugin you are using at the moment is behaving and if there is something we can do to help you? We do not offer support for third party plugins but we can check if there is any errors happening and if possible give you the right direction to fix it.

    Let us know your toughts.

    Thanks

    Joao
