ericc747ParticipantHi,
I bought the x Theme and installed it on my WordPress site. Before I launched my site and started sending traffic to it I decided to change the name of my business and changed my domain name.
Now it is not letting me validate / update my X Theme. I really don’t want to pay another $64 for a 2nd license considering I never got a chance to use the first.
Please advise what to do,
Thanks,

RupokMemberHi Eric,
Thanks for writing in! You have changed the domain, so you need to validate the new domain after revoking the API key for the old one; that’s simple. Let’s go to your Themeco account page – https://community.theme.co/users/ericc747/account/
And then revoke the license for the old domain and add your new domain. The validate the site from WordPress dashboard.
Cheers!

RahulModeratorHey There,
Regarding your issue, would you mind clarifying if you are not able to install X or if you are not able to validate your license. Your key should still work on your domain unless something was changed, like HTTP to HTTPS or www to non-www or another domain name. All you need to do if it is a license issue is you would need to revoke the API and generate a new one.
Please refer to this article if you need help with the above: https://community.theme.co//kb/product-validation/
If you are not able to install X for some reason, you can do so via FTP or file manager through your hosting. Extract the X folder into /wp-content/themes
Hope this helps!
