goalsarecoolParticipantI’m utilizing the following plugins among others:
BBPress Version 2.5.9
BuddyPress Version 2.6.0-alphaAre these the supported versions? If not, what is the supported version for each and where can I get it?
Thanks in advance!

RadModeratorHi Blake,
Thanks for writing in, and compatible versions should be here https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/
Cheers!

goalsarecoolParticipantThanks Rad!
It looks like the supported versions are as follows:
BuddyPress: Latest Supported Version: 2.5.2
bbPress: Latest Supported Version: 2.5.8Since I am not using the supported version, where do I get a copy of the supported version?
Thanks again!

goalsarecoolParticipantThanks Tai!
Do I need to export friendships, comments etc. before deactivating and uninstalling the current version and installing the correct version?

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, it’s important to get a backup before doing it. But it should work, deleting files through FTP will not delete the saved data.
Thanks!

goalsarecoolParticipantIf i deactivate and delete the plugin in the plugins section, will that delete everything?
June 13, 2016 at 10:05 am #1039725
RahulModeratorHey There,
It actually depends on how plugin manages the deletion. Most plugins will not remove their settings when you deactivate them. There are some that do; but my experience is that that’s pretty rare.
It is always advisable to take a backup to make sure everything runs smooth.

goalsarecoolParticipantAre you saying that I need to downgrade both versions of BuddyPress and BBPress through SFTP?
June 13, 2016 at 10:31 am #1039763
RahulModeratorAbsolutely. In order to downgrade, you can either remove the plugins from your WordPress Dashboard or via sFTP and then upload the new plugins.
I would recommend doing it via sFTP to avoid any sort of duplication errors while reinstalling.
Thanks

goalsarecoolParticipantI completed the downgrade via sFTP. The sort box on the sitewide activity is not working correctly. It’s not changing the results based on what’s selected. Can you please assist?

RahulModeratorHey There,
It might just be out of our scope of support but we can still give it a try.
Please send us your admin credentials in a private reply.
Thanks
