jrhager84ParticipantI don’t have support for Superfly since it’s bundled with X, so I figured I’d ask here. When I put in the social links, the icons point to the link *after* the website link. let’s say twitter.com/example is linking as: http://www.domain.com/www.twitter.com/example.
Just wondering how I can fix it. I’ve tried editing the social link page, and nothing seems to fix it. I’ve even deleted it and reinstalled it. Please advise. Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! When inserting a link, you should always include the protocol, http or https. What you are experiencing right now can be resolve by using any of this link format:
Tweets by example Tweets by example //www.twitter.com/exampleWe would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

jrhager84ParticipantEvery time I add it, when it refreshes, it goes to a dead page link, and doesn’t commit to the protocol.

ThaiModeratorHi There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hope it helps.

jrhager84ParticipantI’m currently on the road for another four days. A plugin wouldn’t just cause it to randomly stop working though, right? If nothing was changed? It also appears as though the social links are x now, and the revolution slider isn’t showing up either.
Just trying to troubleshoot from the car to get a jump on it. Thanks!

jrhager84ParticipantYeah – it never commits the change. My guess is maybe the folder changer, because SF tries to go to the old location, but it’s only that part, and no other plugin. interesting…

RadModeratorHi there,
Looks like you masked or changed your admin URL from http://www.steveslanding.com/wp-admin/ to http://www.steveslanding.com/steves-admin/. The requests are all forwarded to this URL http://www.steveslanding.com/steves-admin/ including the options page which returns 404. Would you mind reverting it back to http://www.steveslanding.com/wp-admin/? Then I’ll continue checking.
Thanks!

jrhager84ParticipantSo, I had to go into the settings and options.php files, and change the admin href from wp-admin to my custom prefix. Now everything seems to be working as usual. Just mentioning so others that have this issue can see this and get it fixed. 😉
