lisacole1ParticipantI was all excited about Superfly but now it’s here I’m just banging my head on the table.
It looks straightforward enough but I can’t get it to show up at all.
The instructions in the FAQ make no sense to me at all
“— How do I hide the main (default) menu?
— You need to check your theme settings to hide default menu. Or try to delete default menu in WordPress menu locations. Find it in WordPress sidebar Appearance > Menus. Also custom CSS should work OK for hiding it. For example here’s solution for Divi theme.”
I have menu locations set for header and footer, does it mean that? Or do I have to make a new menu for Superfly?
Are there any better versions of the documentation anywhere? A video walkthrough would be amazing.I’m using Renew stack with a fixed left nav bar

RupokMemberHi there,
As mentioned on the FAQ, Superfly doesn’t replace existing theme menus. Basically you can use both your theme’s menu and Superfly simultaneously if you wish so.
If you need to hide the default menu with CSS, you can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.
.x-navbar-wrap { display: none; }If you need more adjustment with CSS, let us know.
Cheers!

lisacole1Participantthat code takes away the whole header area, logo and navbar.
I really don’t understand any of this, the theme documentation assumes I know stuff I don’t.
How do you disable the theme menu? really I have no idea. Thanks for the code but it’s not what I’m looking for.
I want to use the superfly menu in the nav bar on all pages, and I want the nav bar on the left on all pages.
thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! Sorry if the code doesn’t work out for you. Please do update it and make use of this code instead:
.site .x-nav-wrap.desktop, .site .x-nav-wrap.mobile { display: none !important; }Or as an alternative, you can create an empty menu and assign it as your primary menu. You may go to Appearance > Menus.
To make sure that you have the SuperFly in all your pages, you must see to it that it will appear in all pages and not hidden by selecting those pages in the general display rules. Please go to SupperFly Menu > Source > General display rules.
Hope this helps.

tashitendrelParticipantHello, I would further questions in that topic:
– I have logo stacked to desplay it in the center of the page. So after adding the above css navigation bar is still there. How to remove it?– On the Superfly website there is an example of Icon Menu. Was it removed from X version of the menu? Or can I still set it up somehow? I don’t see such option in Superfly settings…
– Also, would there be a way to make superfly menu transparent?
thank you
