Latest version from the Author is 4.1.4. The X-Theme comes with 4.1.2.
When can we expect an update, and is 4.1.2 compatible with WP 4.6

Superfly version 4.1.4 is now available in X. See this: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/
Try to delete the plugin and reinstall.Hope this helps.

Actually you didn’t excactly answer my question if 4.1.2 is compatible with WP 4.6. Pls clarify.
I have done a huge amount of CSS mods to Superfly in the Customizer -> Custom -> CSS. If I delete and reinstall what happens to these CSS changes?
According to Themeforest and Codecanyon both the X Theme, Cornerstone and Superfly are compatible up to WP 4.5.x, 4.6 is not even mentioned! May I suggest that you clearly indicate the newest compatibility on relevant places (including Envato) where we can use Themeco products without guessing.
MAybe I’ve missed something, and if so I am sorry to bring this up. However I’m still confused.

Hey there,
That means compatibility with 4.6 has not been tested yet. But, that doesn’t mean it is not compatible with 4.6. If bugs are discovered, you can report it to us.
Customizer’s settings are stored separately as it is a part of X. It is best practice to backup your whole site when making changes though.
Please uninstall Superfly and install 4.1.4 in Addons.
