Would you guys be opposed to people just attaching the downloaded template file to a post on a forum? I have nothing to contribute.. Except this idea… which would allow me to copy off of other people’s ideas easier

We won’t be doing something like that, however we are discussing various ways to allow people to share Cornerstone templates. There are also various community generated resources such as this one. I don’t think they are doing templates currently, but William is a great guy and I’m sure would be open to adding this in the future perhaps.

Where do we go to see the submitted templates?!

They are not public at this time and most likely our original plan will need to be modified a bit before going live due to some changes coming in the plugin (good changes) 🙂
For now, we are putting our own community sharing on hold until a later date, but the site referenced above is the first of many community run resources for people interested in CS related goodies.

This is great news (new to me at least). I am curious though, I see that this has been pushed back a good deal amount of time. Is there any general ETA for this. I have a big project coming up in January 2016 and I think something like this would be very helpful. Any word on when your in-house template exchange will go-live. I think this will be a killer feature for X. BTW, thanks for the link to that outside provider, great first step by the community, hope to see the in-house version soon. No date as of now as we will be refactoring the original idea (at least internally here at Themeco). There are going to be several places where people can get community generated templates online both in and outside our community area. We’ll let everyone know when there is more info to share. It will be after standalone release of Cornerstone.

ANything else out there besides Steve Woody Template? That was amazingly helpful to me. I do not have a nack at coordinating these things from scratch. I have no design skills.
Would also love to hear about other community generated resources for cornerstone templates etc. Does anyone have a list of places to find stuff beside the above link?
Where can I find the templates ?
Ive been seeing some folks talk about they are buying templates here and there.. Im not sure if thats allowed , but I would like to see some templates and demos.
Im also willing to share my templates , ive got some really great onesI’m being slightly lazy and not reading through all 4 pages here, but as far as Cornerstone templates for sale the leader in that space seems to be 10X Layouts (https://10xlayouts.com/templates/).
They have individual block sets and full page templates, and I believe more are on the way. Good customer service too, so FYI if you’re Ok with spending some funds rather than waiting.
Kyle, when can we expect this feature? I understand you guys want to incorporate it in the theme in a cool way, but maybe a temporary solution so the people on the forum can have some early access? My clients and I are still waiting 🙁
