    Hi,
On the Google Search console there are 2 Errors posted on each page for my structured data. How do I fix them?
    Missing: author
    Missing: updated?

    Thank you!

    hi,
i downloaded and installed the X child theme and activated. I added the code above and the site format is totally different that the master X I customized. How do I apply the same customizations to the child theme?
Also on the main X theme I had som e widgets on the right side of the page that disappeared… not sure if it was because of the latest update as I enabled the automatic updates or because I installed the child theme.
    Thanks,

    Hi there,

You can switch back to the main theme and export it’s customizer’s settings at Admin > Addons. Then switch to your child theme and import it.

Please note that switching theme even with the child theme, will reset your widgets and menus. You will have to re-assign them again if they are missing.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I switched back to the main theme, adde the code for the add_suf_hatom_data but errors are still not cleared in the Google console. I tried today to update the function and it didn’t allow me with a Denied message to update the server. After, when I tried to login to the admin site http://www.bycalin.com/blog/admin I’m getting the following message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare add_suf_hatom_data() (previously declared in /mnt/blogs/gg8404806fe1c.blog.goodgallery.com/www/blog/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php:26) in /mnt/blogs/gg8404806fe1c.blog.goodgallery.com/www/blog/wp-content/themes/x/functions.php on line 152

Now I’m stuck as the golf doesn’t work and I cannot remove the code added anymore. Please help. Thanks, Calin

    Hello Calin,

Please provide us the ftp details. That is the only way to fix the issue because of the error, you can no longer access your WP dashboard. I think you have the ftp credentials in your filezilla. You have mentioned it before in this topic rely here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/installation-error-3/#post-388137

Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi there,

You don’t have access to WP dashboard and provided link tells you how to backup your site from WP dashboard.
The only way you can fix the issue is through FTP credentials. Can you ask them to give you temporary access to FTP or ask them to remove the code which has broken your site from wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php .

    Hope it helps.

    Hi There,

Yes they can, we do reccomend you to backup your website before doing that.

After you can follow this instructions:

    1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

    2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

    3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

You also can download your theme here:

    https://community.theme.co/dashboard/

    4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Joao
