EMCSParticipantHi there,
yesterday i updated my wordpress installation to version 4.7, and since then i get a error message when i enter the admin panel. And this message stays there until i enter the site itself.
It goes like this:
Warning: Illegal offset type in /public/sites/www.vergaderlocatie-eindhoven.nl/wp-includes/option.php on line 1924

Warning: Illegal offset type in /public/sites/www.vergaderlocatie-eindhoven.nl/wp-includes/option.php on line 1924The reason i ask it here is because i’m not entirely sure what caused this. I’ve looked it up on google and i have found just one small case, where someone had the same after updating to 4.7. Over there they said it could possibly be a plugin or maybe the theme giving the message. The position of this message is on top of the admin page, around the place where i usually get notification from your theme. And i haven’t seen the x notifications since then.
Thanks in advance for answering,
Regards,
Tommy

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in!
Please disable debugging mode by updating
define('WP_DEBUG', true);todefine('WP_DEBUG', false);in wp-config.php file.If you don’t have
define('WP_DEBUG', true);in your file, just adddefine('WP_DEBUG', true);below following line :/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */Hope it helps.

EMCSParticipantdefine(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); is already there. Should i change it to true then?

ThaiModeratorHi There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If it doesn’t work, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link login to your site
– WordPress Admin username / PasswordDon’t forget to select Set as a private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

EMCSParticipantThanks for the reply. I deactivated a couple of plugins and it seems the tawk to manager was the cause. Thanks for the help!
