    Hi guys,
As much as I love X, I am unbelievably disappointed to see that despite all promises and despite recent updates of BOTH X and Ess Grid, the latter STILL gives the Ajax error, no skin templates etc, on brand new X installation on brand new Wp installation with absolutely all plugins up to date.

This is the thread that I started ages ago on here

    https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/ajax-error-essential-grid-unusable/

Please do not even think of asking me to deactivate plugins and so on. The problem isn’t mine: it’s X’s and Essential Grid’s.

That thread I’ve pasted above was also featured and quoted on uncountable conversations on the same subject, i.e. Ess Grid unusable on new installs, on the X Theme Users Facebook group.

You have told us that it’s a server issue. Ess Grid have told us that they were looking into it and all would be solved with the next update. You have told us you were talking to Ess Grid.

And yet after a major X upgrade, and a major Ess Grid upgrade, here I am again. Ess Grid not working.

We have the database hack solution, but really? Is this acceptable, do you think?

Many thanks for any clarification as to why this is still happening.

SOLVED the bundled Ess Grid plugin doesn’t work. You need to have separate license and re-download Ess Grid from Envato. Perhaps you could do a quick X update with a working Ess Grid? thanks anyway. I’m ok now.

    Hi there,

Glad that you solved it for now and thanks for notifying. Although it’s working on my setup. I will forward this to our developer for further check.

    Cheers!
