newskywebsitesParticipantHi there,
Forgive me if I am misunderstanding how sticky posts work, I have not used this feature before. But I am trying to use it now with the Recent Posts element in Cornerstone. My understanding is that if a post is marked “Sticky” it should be shown before other posts regardless of the date they are published? Correct? I do not have “Ignore Sticky Posts” selected in CS, so I thought this would work, but it’s not. Please see attached screenshot.

I’m using WP 4.7.1 and latest versions of X and Cornerstone along with Child Theme. All other plugins are up to date too.
Can you help me? Somehow I need to have special events stay in the Recent Posts area for this customer.
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi Dawn,
Thanks for writing in! Recent Posts supposed to show all recent posts by date (newer first) including the sticky posts. And if you have any other area where you are showing the posts (not with Recent Posts), the sticky posts will show there first and you might not want to show them again on Recent Posts since they will show double on the page. So there is the option to hide sticky posts from Recent Posts.
Hope this makes sense.
