PedroParticipantPlease HELP ME here with your suggestion:
Context:
– I want to build my site with 3 pages: 2 like I saw at “Integrity 1 demo” style and 1 from one page that is inside “Agency” stack
– I like some sections from other stacks and would like to have it in my site.
– I realised that, even if I change the demo content, the pages from the previous stack remain avalaible in wordpress Pages , and then I can add them to the current demo (ex: using the page “Sermons” from the “Church stack” in another page at the actual demo Integrity)
– I am a very beginner at X and Cornerstone.
– I fave more options of customization with standard demosQuestion:
What is the fastest and secure way to build my site:1) Through Cornerstone adding page by page, section by section and elements?
In this case how can I copy the parts that I like from the stacks?2) Set up the 2 expanded demos that I like (just to have the pages set up available in the dashboard) and then turn on the standard demo, and start making the customization (using pages that remained avalaible)?
Do you recommend any guide for beginners?
thank

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Importing a emo might overwrite the existing demo content. If you like specific pages from specific demos then I can suggest you a better approach. Let’s setup a staging site and import one demo. Then you can export the pages you like. All demo content are built with Cornerstone, so you can just export the pages as Cornerstone template. Then you can import them within the live site.
To do this :
1. Click on Templates on your Cornerstone editor – http://prntscr.com/8rlr3k
2. Click Save to save the page as template – http://prntscr.com/8rlreo
3. Click Upload and upload the downloaded template to another site you want to use the page.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
