kjordan83ParticipantHi,
We have been desperately trying for 3 days to fix our page after purchasing and SSL certificate and now my page designs are broken.
I added the code to the .htaccess file and now there are tons of mixed content errors mst of which reference issues with the theme. I have no idea how to fix them. Can you please help? My website is http://www.gratentbranding.com

CMNerdsParticipantThere’s a plugin you can use to secure all of your content, it’s free and it’s easy to use. Just search for SSL secure content from your WP plugin dashboard and find one that’s compatible with your version of WP.

RadModerator@Kjordan83, working with SSL and HTTPS is quite tricky and confusing if done manually. You can seek help from a developer or follow @CMNerd’s suggestion.
@CMNerds, thanks for sharing 😉

kjordan83ParticipantI’ve tried to use that plugin but it does not fix the errors and still breaks the page and does not tell me how to fix them. This is an issue with unsecure content hosted by the theme like the background and other images, so why can I not find help from support on this?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Provided URL shows ‘Internal Server Error’, so I can’t check it.
If the issue is related to X’s background and images, simply download images and upload them to your host files. Then update customizer/page and use images which are hosted in your own host.Thanks.

kjordan83ParticipantOk. I need support to please provide me with a step by step instruction or link to a tutorial on how to convert my X Integrity themed website to SSL. I’m don’t understand the errors I am reading and none of the plugins seem to be working.
As a theme creator, there should be someone who knows how to make this theme work with HTTPS and I feel like i’m not being properly supported on this.

RadModeratorHi there,
We only provide support for X theme and cornerstone. SSL and other configuration should handle by site’s webmaster, developer, or by hosting provider. We’re only providing some help but we can’t cover all of them. X theme and cornerstone should work on any protocol (eg. http, https) because it simply uses the URLs supplied by WordPress’s system. Not configuring it properly will surely break your site regardless of the theme you use.
There is no hard coded URL in our theme, all URL are supplied by WordPress itself based on your site’s configuration. Please consult it to a webmaster.
Please check this https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/web-publishing/https-for-wordpress/
And you may want to install Better Search Replace plugin to replace all http://www.gratentbranding.com by https://www.gratentbranding.com
There is no standard solution when it comes to the randomly affected area. Hence, you may need a webmaster to look on it.
Thanks!
