Greetings! I have a site that I am hosting with InMotion Hosting. The site is http://www.kmkinsure.com.
Lately, I’ve noticed that I’m experiencing severe speed issues…like as much as 75 seconds to load a page.
Part of the issue is plugins, which I will be attempting to remove some of the more non-essential plugins shortly. Regardless, InMotion Support sent me a recommendation to look into X Theme, which I’ve included at the very end of this post. Not sure if it holds water or not, as my experience is that X Theme is a super product.
Trying to be a straight shooter, I wanted to share what InMotion asked me to look into. Could you read this information (below) and tell me if there is anything that could/should be done?

In addition, it appears that the bulk of the load time is likely related to the theme that you are using. Our higher tier reviewed the site and recommended that you reach out to the theme developer to ask them to clean up any inefficient code that is causing longer load times. Another possibility is that there is a theme update that needs to be installed.

Thanks for writing in! To optimize your site I’d recommend you to follow this article https://community.theme.co/kb/performance/ however you can take additional steps to lessen the load time for example, you can re-size your high resolution images to make them load faster, deactivate and uninstall extra plugins, remove unused CSS or JS codes.
