strobleyParticipantHi Themeco,
Just wondered if there any plans to bundled the updated Soliloquy 2.5.0.6 on TF?
The changelog https://theme.co/changelog/ for ‘X Theme 4.3.1 – Notes JANUARY 22, 2016’ includes ‘UPDATED: Soliloquy v2.4.3.7 support.’ However the latest X4-6-2 bundle on TF is only Soliloquy v2.4.4.3. This version of Soliloquy is over a year old.
I understand about X automatic updates, however I am testing on a local sandbox test server. I’m looking at alternatives to Revolution Slider, which is awesome for features! However it results in a considerably increased overall page size, so am looking at lighter slider options.
Many thanks.

Rue NelModeratorHello There
Thanks for writing in! We will be pushing an update for the latest Soliloquy slider in our plugin repository soon. For the meantime, please check out how we utilize this plugin in X. You can check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-soliloquy/
Thank you.

strobleyParticipantThanks Rue Nel, much appreciated.
I actually found Soliloquy at total pain and do anything remotely useful with it I need to purchase their add-ons!
I did actually find Meta Slider from WordPress Plugins great and extremely lightweight using the Responsive Slider within Meta SLider, its the smallest, fastest, cleanest and is really simple – 1.4Kb zipped!
If Themeco are planing to change the CS integrated Slider from the current I really recommend the team look at this http://responsiveslides.com/
Cheers 🙂

JoaoModeratorWe certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
