    Hi there,
    Google Search Console indicated a huge amount of soft 404 errors at my page https://rede-reim.de I am wondering how I can fix this problem. It appears mainly for blog posts respectivley for search-by-tags. Attached you can find a screenshot of google search console.

    Thanks for writing in! Not sure where you are getting error as I can’t see any. Would you clarify a bit with a screenshot?

    Hi there,

    Please find attached some more screenshots. Explanations are made in German, but you can see trouble-shooting URLs and the indication to have more soft 4040 errors than expected.

    Hi there,

    Please try regenerating your permalink configurations under Settings -> Permalinks section.

    Okay, I checked your link, but I am afraid I can’t deal with so IT-detailed measures. What exactly do you mean by regenerating my permalinks? Should I try to change my whole permalink structure and afterwards save it twice? And is it relevant to my redirections if I rename a permalink differently?

    Hey There,

    You can just navigate to Settings > Permalinks and click on “Save”. That will refresh the permalink settings.

    O thanks! That’s what I did today. I will wait some days and re-check google search console, hoping to have solved the problem.
