Jim WParticipantPlease Help!
Can’t load visual composer. It just keeps spinning.
I noticed all the different possibilities listed below but need serious help narrowing it down to resolve this problem.
1) “broken shortcode in the ‘My Shortcodes’ section.” This is way above my head
2) “Please increase the memory limit to at least 256M”
3) “I wouldn’t expect this to happen if you truly have 128M available. Often we advise memory increases for issues like this because hosts like to set a limit. However, 128M should be enough to operate the site.”
4) Would you happen to have any other plugins active? Maybe there’s a conflict? You can test for one by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. ****** I deactivated all my plugins and it still did’t work.
5) Most probably, it is. This particular problem is related to hosting and or server configurations. Some shared hosting environment doesn’t have this problem.
6) if you try a new page (Blank) and load just one Row it works.. but if you have a OnePage website… It would not work.
I just have the basic Hostgator plan but visual composer used to work for me. I don’t know if it’s because of a WordPress upgrade, one of your upgrades or if WordPress decreased my memory?
Just talked to Host Gator and they said they just increased my memory to 256M. Somehow they didn’t know what it was before.
php?
Thanks,
Jim

Paul RModeratorHi Jim,
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Don’t forget to review the changelog as well – https://theme.co/changelog/
Thanks
