I read several threads about this topic but couldn’t solve the problem.
    On my homepage I have an «above Masthead» with a «Revolution Slider».
Now I would like to link the slider (all the full size images) the same like the «Bottom Anchor» arrow, which scrolls down smoothly down the slider.

I made the slider link to an anchor, which works fine, but it just jumps to the anchor without smooth scrolling.
    see: http://www.irene-jost.ch/home-test

    any solution?
thanks a lot for any help!

    Hi there,

Please edit the layer and change ‘link type’ to ‘a tag link’.

    Hope it helps.

This option only exist for layers, but I only have background-images and wanted to link the slider in the slider options (Link & SEO), there are only two options: «Regular» and «To Slide». There the link is to: #home-scroll.
Any possibility to make it work from there with an anchor link?

    Hi there,

Rev. Slider has no feature like that slides to the specific section. It will be a custom javascript since it’s not directly part of the theme.

Scrolling with easing/animation is a javascript, linking ad jumping is a normal behavior of a link without that javascript. Your layer with links needs to wrap the entire slide, but that couldn’t be possible since layer content is only limited to the layer wrapper. I’ll continue checking if it’s possible, but more likely not.

    Thanks!

thanks for your answer & time.
I’ll try doing layers instead of background-images.
