californie1ParticipantI have some problems with sliders with fix images made with LayerSlider. At random they are not loading, in various browsers. Sometimes they load when scrolling the page, sometimes they don’t load unless the page is reloaded.
I worked with LayerSlider version 5.6.4 as it was provided with Theme X. When I noticed the problem a week ago, I checked and saw that newer versions exist, and that in v5.6.7 they fixed some image preload issues. I installed this version that seemed to help somewhat on macos, but the problem remained on IOS, still randomly.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
According to our Version Compatibility page, latest compatible version of Layerslider is Version: 5.6.4. So kindly use that version before we check the new version and fix any compatibility issue.
Cheers!

RupokMemberHi there,
I have checked the slider on your home page with several browsers and didn’t face any loading issue. It’s loading fine on my end.
Thanks

californie1Participantit used to happen on every browser including with OSX, but for now I can only reproduce it on IOS. You load the homepage, then go to the next page “team”, and the slider is not loading. When you start scrolling the page it loads. Same occurs for the page “services” and “guide”, but not “contact”. This is where it seems random, because if I close my browser and I open the site in a new page, some might work and not others. I have the same issue on several version of iphones and IOS.
Any idea ?May 16, 2016 at 1:48 pm #994144
californie1ParticipantJust checked with ipad, same problem, just the homepage was working, all the other pages would not load the slider without reloading or scrolling the page first.

californie1ParticipantBy the way, I could also reproduce it now with Chrome/OSX in keeping the horizontal size of the window narrow, so that the menu button type is active, and then when I just selected my page guide inside that menu popup, I had the problem of the slider not loading again.

FriechModeratorHi There,
I am another support and I can’t replicate the issue on my end as well. Please try to cache your browser’s cache.
Thanks.

californie1ParticipantYes I do empty caches and close current windows.
Have you tried on IOS/Safari ? I can reproduce it almost everytime on iphones (2 different IOS versions) and ipad, on at least one of the 4 pages mentioned.May 17, 2016 at 10:58 am #995704
RahulModeratorIt works on my Safari too, no way I can replicate the same.
Please advise.

californie1ParticipantWe are going to see if we can switch to slider revolution and drop layerslider…
