    Hi there,
    I added a vimeo background video to one of my slider and it won’t loop even though I set the correct parameter.

    My other problem is that I want to add a shape between the text and the video to serve as a semi transparent overlay.
    But when I set the cover setting to cover, the shape disappears instead of covering the entire area of the slider. If I set the cover setting to full width then the object appears but only covers the width of the grid area.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! To resolve your issue, please make the video as a background video instead. Please check out the documentation to know more how you can achieve what you have in mind. You can visit this link: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/main-background/?tab=html5video

    Hope this helps.

    As I’m saying in my initial explanation, the video is currently a background video.

    Hi There,

    Please change your Source settings >Arguments Vimeo

    from:

    title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&api=1

    to:

    title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&api=1&loop=1

    Hope it helps

    OK thanks,
    It works, but now ignores the start and end times. Is there a way to loop a video between the start and end times ?

    My second problem is the following:
    I want to add a shape between the text and the video to serve as a semi transparent overlay.
    But when I set the cover setting to “cover”, the shape disappears instead of covering the entire area of the slider. If I set the cover setting to full width then the object appears but only covers the width of the grid area. Can you help me setup a transparent overlay between the video and the text to help readability ?

    thanks
    Vincent

    Hi there,

    Please try this code:

    title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&api=1&loop=100

    #2 Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Thanks.
