    https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/slider-revolution-update-broken/

Please refer to my old thread, the problem still persists.

This time I even tried disabling the plugin before updating. Now after the update which didn’t complete regularly the whole plugin is gone within the WordPress backend.

I will upload the revslider.zip later and hope all sliders will still be there like the last times, but it is really annoying that I can NEVER autoupdate Slider Revolution. All other plugin updates work.

    Hi There,

Revolution slider should work normally and update just as any other addon.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks

    Joao

Your slider works on my end. Please clear your browser history or cache and check again. I see you have optimization and security plugins installed also. Please clear all caches and deactivate them then check again. When updating, you need to clear cache and deactivate them to ensure old files are not served as they might cause issues.

    Thanks.

As I explained above the slider works now. The problem is when updating the plugin!!! Every single time when a new update comes out the plugin brakes and I have to manually delete its folder and then reupload the contents of the revslider.zip from X package.

As you can also see the plugin is not updated to the latest version because it doesn’t work.

I clear the cache all the time.
