hammondbParticipantI have a question about controlling the positioning of text in Slider Revolution — which came bundled with X. Is this where I should get support or where?
Thanks,

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
1] Instead of having text repositioning, I would recommend that you show/hide text along with its position of course responsively. Let’s just say for example, you will have a text correctly positioned in desktop screens and hide this text on smaller screens. You will need another text layer that is only visible on smaller screen yet hidden in desktop screens.
2] The two vertical lines are the border bounds of the screen width. This is why it will change as you select desktop, phone, tablet or other screen sizes.
To be able to achieve a full responsive slider, perhaps this video could help:
And if you need to know more about just anything in the slider settings, I would recommend that you review the documentations here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Hope this helps.

hammondbParticipantI’m confused even more by this response…
A] Re my Dec 8 point #1 “TEXT RESIZING” (as above). Please actually look at my site and explain to me why my text is not resizing as it should. I don’t see that I’ve done anything wrong.
It is set in each of the 4 slider revolution screens differently. What is the problem here? Why is it not being responsive like it should be?
B] Re: Your suggestion of showing/hiding text for each breakpoint.
Does this mean in slider revolution I should have 8 text layers (instead of 2) then hide the other 6 ones for each of the screens? If so, How would I type all these in the interface without them piling on top of each other? I tried the eye icon (that makes layers invisible) but it hides it from all screens. Am I missing something here? Is there a setting to hide layers on one screen but show on others? Please explain in clear detail…
C] If the border bounds of the screen are those lines, why is the Slider Revolution interface showing the whole picture and why does what I see on my screens seem to have no relation to these border bounds. Is this to only show pixel width or is the image and text supposed to be somehow relational to this border?
**Please answer each of these 3 points clearly with detail, as I can’t afford the delays of back and forth. (Site has to go up). Plus the more we go back and forth the longer this thread becomes and the more confusing.
I’d appreciate if you put an A], B], or C] in front of your responses to speak to & match the questions I’m asking above.
Thanks lots

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
a] The text isn’t resizing because the text itself is not responsive. By default the text in the slider is not responsive. It will just follow the font size you have set here: http://prntscr.com/dh68mx
Please do apply responsive text shortcode instead. To know more about it, please check it here: https://community.theme.co/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-responsive-text/b] The eye icon only hides it and not the correct one. You can show/hide a layer in the visibility tab.
Please check it here: http://prntscr.com/dh692ec] The lines are the border bounds of what it would potentially be like in a smaller screen, phone, tablet or desktop. The whole interface is showing the whole picture because you are in a bigger screen. The lines simulates what would it look like in a smaller screen. Please see this screenshot:
http://prnt.sc/dh69jv
http://prnt.sc/dh69qbHope this explains it briefly.
