webpagefreakParticipantWhat up my Glip Glops!
I’ve been getting complaints that the video slider I have over the header cuts off or overextends when visiting this site.
http://www.snowyowltours.com as in, some screens seem too big and some too small, it changes the layout.also when people hit the “view website” button, the video is still visible from the next page. Can you please help me, I’ve fiddled and fiddled and failed!!
In short, is there an auto setting I’m missing for all screen sizes (yes I know there’s an auto setting) but that doesnt seem to work on large or small monitors. Thanks in advance, great theme…hell….the best!!

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
It looks okay on my end and on any device I checked. It’s currently set as full-screen I guess, and that should be enough. Though, you may provide screenshots of the issue as well as your login credentials and I’ll check your settings.
Thanks!

LelyModeratorHi There,
We’re sorry you’re having this issue. Unfortunately, it is not clear for me which gray bar you’re referring to in the image. Would you mind clarifying so we can help you better? Thank you.

webpagefreakParticipantabove the website name and ubermenu is the bottom of the slider video that’s hanging into the static front page. Sometimes the video will show up in the static front page after clicking the slider button that brings you automatically to the static front page.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Try to add a few pixels more of padding to the bottom and top of your website(I mean below the header and above the footer)
I believe the line you are referring to is part of the video.
If you think you are facing a different issue please provide us more details about it. A screenshot with the issue highlighted would also be helpful.
Thanks
Joao

webpagefreakParticipantOK, a solution, that’s wonderful! Can you send some code my way to help solve this problem? What can I add to global CSS to add padding to top and bottom of the website, as you’ve suggested? Thanks for your help!

LelyModeratorHi There,
Do you experience this issue on a specific browser? I can’t seem to duplicate the issue. See this video screencast:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDiqepiBZX. It’s firefox and chrome. When I click the button View website, it goes at the very top of the logo and ubermenu without any hint of the gray bar. Please check.

webpagefreakParticipantI resolved the problem by adding more sections to the front page, thank you very much for the screencast:)
