    Hi,

    I am using the extended demo wedding theme and decided to delete the pre-installed slider header (to replace with another) and this seems to have stopped it working completely. I’ve tried re-installing within wordpress and via FTP but with no avail. Even inserting a new blank slider still shows the same error message. All site content has disappeared with ‘Record not found’ but when i deactivate the slider, all site content reappears. Any ideas?

    The site is… http://www.mrandmrsc2b.co.uk

    Thank you! Sy

    Hi There,

    Selected and deselected again your slider below masthead and now the problem seems to be gone.

    Let us know if you need further help.

    I would also reccomend you adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.

    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

    You can add it before the line

    /* Thatโ€™s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    Here you have a video tutorial in any case:

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks

    Joao

    Hi There,

    You need to click : Edit Page on your Top Admin Bar > Scroll down until you find > Slider Below Masthead > Select the slider you have created > Save.

    Hope that helps

    Also, I have added the code into the wp-config as you recommended. Can you advise what this does/will do to help the site? Just out of interest.

    Thank you, Sy

    Hi There,

    Yes it does help the overall performance of your website, it is the first thing I do whenever I build a website with WordPress.

    Hope that helps
