alcaloideParticipant…error.
Title Says it all. I see others having the issue so I know its not just me. Just setup up server for WordPress (last version 4.5.2), everything is brand new. Just have akismet activated and cornerstone, as it now comes pre installed and activated.
No pages created yet. Please, help.
I have already tried to install twice, I even went to FTP and deleted slider revolution folder from wp-content and tried again. Same result.June 17, 2016 at 8:21 pm #1047832

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the wordpress admin credentials.
Would you mind also giving us FTP credentials on a private reply? After that, we can try activating it but we need FTP in case the fatal error occurs.June 18, 2016 at 6:13 pm #1048727

alcaloideParticipantOk, ok, ok.
The only plugins activated were akismet, cornerstone (as it comes pre activated) and under construction.
I read on the avada forum (sorry, just a google search on the matter – ;-)) a or one “solution”: deactivate all plugins and then activate one by one. So, I did it and then, the first one to be activated was slider revolution. Yes! It worked. Then I activated akismet (ok) and underconstruction (ok) and… boom. When I tried to activate cornerstone it crashed!!!
I got this error: “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 98304 bytes) in /home/storage/5/93/c0/valeriadestefani/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/controls/class-control.php on line 42”
Now, I can’t even access it.
Please, help me!!!!!June 18, 2016 at 7:42 pm #1048748
alcaloideParticipantDarn it.
I went to .htaccess and added “php_value memory_limit 128M”, no result.Then I went to wp-includes/default-constants.php and edited ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’40M’ to ‘128M’.
Nothing.Went to wp-config.php and added “define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’);”. Still nothing.
Those were solutions found using google. because I am noobie…

alcaloideParticipantGot access back after editing php.ini file and altering the string “memory_limit = 64M” to “memory_limit = 256M”.
Now, every plugin is working fine. It seems this version of slider revolution needs a minimum of 256M to get the green checks…
Hope this post helps anybody outthere.
