    Hi,

I am trying to have a continuously looping slider on the homepage of my site. Initially I was trying to use the Slider Revolution ‘Hero’ slider, but could not get it to loop.

Having done some research it seems like Hero slider won’t loop with just one slide – so duplicated the slide to make two. Still didn’t work.

So, set to standard slider, turned off stop after slide and disabled all the navigation, so it looks like Hero – but same as before – it just stops after playing through once.

Would be most grateful if someone could take a look and let me know what I’m not doing right 🙂

    Thanks very much

    Tania

    Hey Tania,

Thanks for writing in! A hero scene is essentially a “one slide” Slider. When selected, multi-slide options such as navigation, autoplay, etc. will be hidden from the slider’s main settings automatically. For more information about the slider types, please check out the documentation here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-setup/#slidertype

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Rue,

Yes, I understand that – I have read the Slider Revolution documentation. As such I have duplicated my slide (so now two slides) and am using the default slider – but still I can’t get the slideshow to be continuous – it displays fine in the preview, but once on the page stops after the two slides have played through.

Please could you help me make it repeat?

    Thanks

    Tania

    Hello Tania,

It seems that the loop is working when I check. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDQv1BjT9k
Can you try clearing browser cache and then check again
