bethalexParticipantSlider has stopped functioning properly after latest updates:
Specs:
Site runs on Bluehost php version 5.6.27, MySQL version 5.6.32
WordPress Version: 4.6.1
X Theme Version: 4.6.4
Slider Revolution Version: 5.3.0.2
Cloudflare – NO
Caching plugin – NOBrowsers Tested on Mac OSX Sierra:
Chrome Version 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit
Firefox: Version 49.0.2
Safari: Version 10.0.1 (12602.2.14.0.7)Browsers on Windows 10:
Chrome:
Firefox:Slider is a post based slider
Slider behavior is erratic will hang on one of the slides, it rarely completes a full loop – there are 12 posts/slides. I have seen it cycle through all 12 only once so far after the update, and that was on a Windows 10 system and only after uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Even then it did not successfully restart the loop — the navigation dots showed it going back to slide one, but it actually showed slide 2 and then appeared to get stuck.I have tried disabling all plugins except Revolution Slider (including Cornerstone)
I setup a clone of the site and switched to the 2016 theme with only Slider Revolution plugin enabled – problem persists.

ChristianModeratorPlease try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If you could not do this since it’s a live site, copy your site over to a staging or development site without third party plugins and check if you experience the same issue there.
Thanks.

bethalexParticipantAs stated above I have already done this on both the production site and the clone site. On the clone site I even switched to the 2016 theme. Same issues remain.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
There is a known bug that is hapenning in isolated installations, Themepunch is working on but unfortunely we cannot provide and ETA to be fixed.
On the meanwhile I reccomend you downgrading your Revolution Slider Plugin.
To do that download it from the link below, access your site via ftp and go to wp-content/plugins/ and replace the folder RevSlider with the one inside the zip file.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5poy9ywysds1tfr/revslider%20%281%29.zip?dl=0
When a new update come up you can try to upgrade it again.
You won´t lose any of your sliders because all the data is stored at the database.
Hope that helps
Joao
